List Recognizes the Top Private Companies in Clean Technology
FRX Polymers, Inc. (FRX), the global leader of halogen-free polymeric flame retardant solutions, announced today that it has been included in the 2015 Global Cleantech 100 list. This is the 3rd time that FRX Polymers has been nominated; the company received the award on January 26, 2016 at the Cleantech Forum in San Francisco CA.

The panel is drawn principally from representatives of multi-national corporations and industrials active in technology and innovation scouting, and from leading financial investors in Asia, Europe and North America. The panel includes pioneers, leaders, veterans, and new entrants in Cleantech. The composition of the expert panel is created to be broadly representative of the global cleantech community.

Nofia products have been registered globally and have a favorable toxicological profile. Nofia products are produced using sustainable green chemistry principles therefore its process is solvent free, creates no waste bi-products and has near 100% atom efficiency. The USA Environmental Protection Agency has recognized FRX with the Environmental Merit Award citing the company as an example of an innovative New England company making a real difference by making products that reduce risks to human health and reduce environmental damage while simultaneously delivering fire safety.
“We are honored to have been placed on the prestigious Global Cleantech 100 list of leading private companies in the Cleantech space. The GCT100 consists of very impressive companies and to be placed with this group by our peers is highly gratifying. The award recognizes the FRX Team’s commitment to developing products that address important market needs while also protecting our environment with sustainable materials,” said Marc Lebel, President and CEO of FRX Polymers.
“FRX Polymers, having been placed on the Global Cleantech 100 list for a third time now, is an outstanding company.
